• Our Work

    At Divya Foundation, currently, we are reaching out to the most needy in rural areas of Maharashtra (not excluding the urban areas) and thereby make them independent and self-sufficient. However, we wish to be able to help all the needy people globally and we are already putting efforts in this direction. We believe knowledge and education are power for the betterment of every society; this being inspirational in our association with supporting educational needs. Here’s a list of our current activities:

    Education …

    • Sponsoring students who cannot afford education.
    • Providing vocational trainings and career guidance programs.
    • Rewarding the students by giving scholarships.
    • Undertaking repairs for the school buildings, constructing toilets, supplying stationary, shoes, food etc.

    Rural Development …

    • Providing help with overcoming water and electricity problems
    • Conducting Heath Awareness camps
    • Rural Women empowerment through trainings in vocational courses, education, health awareness camps, and other activities.
    • Generating employment for people and helping them to start small businesses.
    • Providing medical aid in the form of monetary help for surgeries, medicines etc. (We have a process in place to validate the needs and provide help in such cases. To know more, you can contact us via email)
    • We also support the “Go Green” and water conservation initiatives by organizing tree plantation drives in the rural areas through provision of saplings, making soak pits etc., subject to identification of right location by our team.

    Animal Welfare …

    We provide help in both rural and urban areas. We are associated with NGOs to help the animals in need of medical attention. We also provide monetary help as and where required. For example, we provided monetary help to the flood affected animals in Sangli, Karad and Satara districts (details on Facebook page).
